Album Review: Weirdly Loving Foushee's, Pointy Heights

I keep coming back to Foushee's New Album, Pointy Heights ... this album has really surprised me, to say the least. Although I feel like the pace is slow and Foushee's sound is much more melancholic than my typical, "go-to" preferred genre of music, I have found myself returning back to this album multiple times over the past couple weeks. Maybe my taste is evolving? When the weather gets chiller, so does my listening.

For a fun and catchy song, I would suggest "Bird and Bees". It is my favorite from the album, with a steady snare and flute (?) accompanying Foushee throughout. If you have a darker vibe, I really like "100 bux," (posted below)

I don't know what it is about this song that has had such a chokehold over me. Recently, I have been more interested in punky aesthetics, which could explain why I especially appreciate the gothic sounds. Overall, this song, let alone the album, is pretty alternative for my listening taste, but has been a great addition to my library. Keep listening to albums that are outside of your comfort, you might be surprised!
